A house among archaeological remains
The renovation of Casa Chapi, located in El Albir, Alfaz del Pi, is an update of an existing home, focused on adapting and modernizing the space while staying true to its Mediterranean context. With views to the sea and Calpe, the project has been developed to improve the functionality and interaction with the environment natural and urban.


The design of the renovation is based on a concept of open spaces and better distribution of light. We have chosen local materials such as manual terracotta and ceramics from Alicante, along with Travertine stone from Alicante quarries and natural oak wood.
The exterior of the house has been planned to integrate with the plot. A notable aspect of the garden is the inclusion of Roman archaeological remains, which have been preserved and highlighted in the design, creating a link with local history.





The house has an area of approximately 250m², distributed over two floors and a solarium. On the terrace of On the first floor, we have included swimming pools that offer direct views of the sea, designed to complement the use residential of the house.
In general, the objective of this reform has been to update the existing home, improving its relationship with the environment and making use of materials and techniques that reflect both local tradition and current habitability needs. and comfort. The renovation has been carried out with a practical and respectful approach, seeking to balance modernity and functionality with respect for the legacy and environment of the home.
